Malawi Gold from Anesia originates from Malawi, a country in south-east Africa, renowned for producing some of the world's most psychoactive plants. In its native habitat, it grows on a 1200m high plateau in the north. This subtropical region experiences six months of drought from November to April, followed by a rainy season that defines the climate. During this period, Malawi flourishes golden and develops extreme mold resistance due to the hot and humid conditions.

Malawi Gold is the top export in the country. The ANESIA version is only one generation removed from the original variety, retaining all the qualities of the Queen of Africa. It stands out as one of the finest Sativa strains in the world.

Flavor, Aroma, and Effects

This pure Sativa can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors and is exceptionally easy to grow. Malawi Gold has a fruity, flowery aroma and taste. Its effects are extremely psychoactive, delivering a clear high that lasts for several hours. It is recommended for experienced users seeking intense Sativa effects due to its potency.

Cultivation Tips

In indoor grow rooms, it's advisable to start the flowering phase soon after one week of vegetative growth due to the plant's rapid development. Malawi Gold flowers indoors in 10–13 weeks and yields between 600–650g per square meter. Outdoors, you can expect 800–1000g per plant, with harvest typically occurring from late October to early November.
