Origins and Evolution

We were proud to offer GG #4 as feminized seeds, but due to unauthorized copies by other breeders, we changed the name to Original Gorilla #4. This strain was born from a unique cross between Chem Sis and Sour Dubb by Joesy Whales. A few seeds were given to his friend Mardogg, who later discovered four distinct phenotypes. Phenotype number four stood out for its remarkable trichome production, leading to the development of this elite strain through careful crossbreeding and stabilization.

Flavor, Aroma, and Potency

Original Gorilla #4 is one of the most resinous and flavorful sativa-dominant strains available. It features a piny, spicy scent with notes of sandalwood and sweet cherry. Its potency is legendary, with THC levels exceeding 30%. The effects are cerebral, euphoric, and uplifting, lasting over four hours. Due to its intensity, it is recommended only for experienced users.

Growing Characteristics

This strain thrives both indoors and outdoors in sunny conditions. It has a 9-week flowering period and requires careful management due to its vigorous growth. To ensure optimal development, reduce the light cycle to 12 hours daily after two weeks of vegetative growth. Indoors, it can yield 500–550 g per sqm, while outdoor cultivation can produce up to 600 g per plant. It performs exceptionally well in SCROG setups.
