Night Queen is an easy to grow Indica dominant cannabis strain with a short flowering time. This cannabis strain is much loved by true Indica fans who appreciate a compact and highly potent Afghan Indica strain. She is known for a beautiful end result with a very strong knockout cannabis high. She has an average THC percentage of around 17-20%, which can be even higher when grown by an expert in perfect conditions.
This Indica produces really excellent results in soil (bio), coco fibre and hydroponics. These are compact, bushy plants with thick, stocky trunks and greasy-fingered leaves. The buds usually end up very compact and hard, so even the smaller plants give amazing yields. All this in a very short flowering period of about 56 days.
Like most ‘Afghanica' strains, this one is known for a thick white resin layer, which also makes her very suitable for making hash or other cannabis concentrates. It is therefore a suitable strain for pressing Rosin. It is also an ideal strain to grow naturally - because of her stocky structure you don't have to use special grow techniques to control her height.
She grows exactly as you would expect from a pure non-hybridised Afghan Indica - bushy, compact and with thick wiry branches. They tend to be somewhat smaller, shrubby plants - ideal for a SOG grow or for those who have limited height in their growing space. In addition, Night Queen grows easily and is not demanding at all.
Night Queen has a spicy and earthy aroma with notes of citrus fruit and flowers. The taste reminds you of hash and orange. It is a pungent spicy fragrance with earthy notes and a mix of citrus fruit and subtle floral scents. The citrus aroma is strongly present in some plants and after a good cure it can develop into an even more complex scent profile in which notes of lemon, oranges and roses can be recognised. There are phenotypes that also have sweeter aromas.
Along with the more sour citrus notes you get a very interesting sweet and sour mix that can sometimes seem a bit like candy. The taste of Night Queen reminds you of hashish. The spicy earthy taste is combined with a fresh and fruity citrus dominant note which makes smoking this strain a special experience. This cannabis strain is wonderfully soft to smoke and gives a heavy, thick smoke that quickly fills the room.
Night Queen is a very resinous Afghan variety. It is one of our strongest indicas ever with a THC percentage of over 20%. This strain is a pure, un-hybridised Afghan Indica that was discovered in the 1980s. These cannabis genetics are based on an Afghani landrace. She has only been backcrossed with herself to keep the strain as pure as possible.
