Pink Banana Runtz is an indica-dominant USA hybrid cross from the ‘Antonio, by Dutch Passion’ collection. This limited edition strain was developed by crossing Banana Z (from TerpHogz) with Gelato #33. Antonio aimed to create a Runtz variant with larger flowers and a higher yield compared to traditional Runtz strains, which often produce smaller buds.
When grown under quality LED lighting, this cultivar produces notably large buds, especially the main colas. The plants are compact during the vegetative phase but stretch well during flowering, allowing the main buds to protrude above the canopy for optimal light absorption and development.
They thrive in natural, SOG, and SCROG setups, though SCROG requires additional pre-vegetation time to fully fill the net before initiating the 12/12 light cycle. The bud structure is dense but not overly compact, offering good resistance to higher humidity levels.
This strain is ideal for beginners and can be grown in greenhouses or outdoors in warmer, drier climates. It truly excels in controlled indoor environments with powerful LED lights and quality nutrients. Flowering time averages 8–9 weeks, with an XL yield.
During flowering, the buds become heavily coated in trichomes, with resin production increasing rapidly from week three to four. By the end of the bloom cycle, they are sticky and aromatic, offering a refined terpene profile with sweet, fruity, and creamy notes.
The aroma is subtle yet complex, with undertones of tropical fruit, apple, banana, and creamy ice cream. Dominant terpenes include caryophyllene, linalool, limonene, humulene, and myrcene. THC levels consistently exceed 20%, often reaching 25% under optimal growing conditions.
The high is powerful and long-lasting, combining physical relaxation with a slightly euphoric and uplifting mental effect. This makes it ideal for experienced users seeking a balanced hybrid experience.
For best results, maintain temperatures between 20–27°C (68–81°F) and humidity levels of 50–65% (max 50% during mid to late flowering). Phenotypes may develop pink and light purple hues on larger leaves and sugar leaves, giving the plant a unique appearance that matches its name.

Sour Fruit Tartare originated from years of selection, crossing a cup-winning Fruit Tartare #4 clone with Rosso Corsa. After extensive testing by Antonio over two years, three phenotypes emerged with unique characteristics and purple buds. These were then crossed with a potent purple mother plant from the Sour Trop BX1 line, also known as Sour Tropicana Cookies.
The resulting cultivar is exceptionally sour, sometimes with chemical notes like Ajax cleaner or Lysol, complemented by hints of passion fruit, guava, red fruit, and blueberry. Depending on the phenotype, it may lean towards red wine or even rotten fruit, creating a completely new and pungent terpene profile.
Combined with its striking purple, rose, and dark bud colors, this is a truly special strain. It has a flowering time of around 9 weeks and is a sativa-dominant hybrid with medium to high potency, averaging 15% THC and peaking at 20%. The unique flavor and aroma are what set it apart.
