Runtz Automatic is a 70% indica hybrid that merges the beloved Runtz strain with indica ruderalis genetics, resulting in an autoflowering variant. Its genetic background features a mix of Zkittlez—combining Skunk, Afghani, and Jack Herer—with Gelato, a blend of Sunset Sherbet and Girl Scout Cookies.

Plant Structure and Yield

This strain grows into short, compact plants with tight internodal spacing and a sturdy, bushy structure. A strong central cola is surrounded by smaller, resinous buds. As an autoflowering plant, it begins flowering automatically after a few weeks, eliminating the need to adjust light schedules.

Indoors, Runtz Automatic typically reaches heights of 25–80 cm and can yield 250–325 grams per square metre over a 60–65 day flowering period. Outdoors, it may grow slightly taller but rarely exceeds 100 cm, producing up to 250 grams per plant.

Its delicate branches also make practices like supercropping or lollipopping impractical. While its compact size suggests a SOG setup, the lack of control over flowering can complicate this approach.
