Germination Guidelines

To ensure a healthy harvest from the start, it's important to germinate your Top 44 seeds carefully. At Blimburn Seeds, we recommend following our easy and simple germination technique for best results.

Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top, ensuring excess water is removed. Cover with an opaque plate and store in a warm, dark location.

Monitoring: Check every 4-6 hours to ensure the paper towels remain moist by spraying with room temperature water. Germination typically occurs within 24 to 120 hours. Once sprouted, plant the seeds with roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil.

Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 69.8 ºF – 78.8 ºF (21 ºC – 26 ºC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH between 5.5 and 6.5. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure.
