Description
Flavor and Effects
This hybrid strain, resulting from a Chocolate Thai x Ruderalis cross, offers a predominantly 90% Sativa / 10% Indica profile. Expect a flavor that combines Lemon, Sweet, and Tropical notes, with a body high that is mostly Sativa in nature. With THC levels ranging from 21% to 25%, this strain delivers an uplifting and energetic experience, ideal for those seeking a happy and creative mood boost.
Origin and Lineage
The Chocolate Thai Auto strain traces its roots back to Thailand, where traditional Thai genetics first gained popularity. In the 1960s, the U.S. received its first shipment of “Thai sticks,” which became well known for their unique effects and flavor profiles.
Over the years, these genetics have evolved and been refined, eventually leading to the creation of Chocolate Thai Auto through a cross with Ruderalis. This development has made it easier for growers to cultivate while maintaining the rich heritage of classic Thai strains like Dark Devil Auto and Deelite Auto. The result is a resilient, high-yielding plant that retains the unique characteristics of its lineage.
Cultivation and Germination
For best results, germinate your Chocolate Thai Autoflower seeds carefully. Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water and placing the seeds on one towel, spaced about 2 cm apart. Cover with the second towel, then place in a warm, dark location under an opaque plate.
Check the paper towels every 4–6 hours to ensure they remain moist. Germination typically occurs within 24–120 hours. Once tap roots appear, plant them with the roots facing down in soil, covering them with about 2 cm of soil. Keep the soil consistently moist and maintain a temperature between 69.8 ºF – 78.8 ºF (21 ºC – 26 ºC).
Use purified room temperature water with a pH between 5.5 and 6.5. Avoid exposing the seeds to light for more than one minute before or during germination, and do not touch or apply pressure to them. Keep a record of the germination process using photos or video, as it may be needed for the three-month germination guarantee.
Medical and Therapeutic Uses
Beyond its uplifting effects, Chocolate Thai Autoflower is also valued for its therapeutic potential. It is often used to help with arthritis, insomnia, and chronic pain, offering users a mood-enhancing and stress-relieving experience. Its balanced genetics provide a harmonious blend of Sativa energy and Indica relaxation, making it versatile for a wide range of needs.
