Description
Origins and Genetics
Auto Super Skunk traces its roots back to the bustling cannabis hub of Amsterdam in the 1970s. Initially bred with Afghan genetics, it also incorporates hints of Colombian and Acapulco strains. This diverse genetic background has been further enhanced through careful breeding with Ruderalis genetics, resulting in the resilient and adaptable Super Skunk Autoflower we know today.
Flavor and Effects
This hybrid strain is a cross between Super Skunk x Northern Lights x Ruderalis, offering a unique blend of earthy, pungent, and skunk flavors. With a 40% Indica / 60% Sativa ratio, it delivers a balanced experience that includes an uplifting cerebral high from its Sativa influence and deep relaxation from its Indica side. The Medium THC content of 17 – 19% makes it ideal for those seeking a happy, energetic experience with a touch of calm.
Cultivation and Harvest
Super Skunk Autoflower is known for its robust growth and efficient flowering time, which typically lasts around 7-9 weeks. This quick turnaround makes it an attractive choice for growers aiming to maximize their harvests throughout the year. It can be grown both indoors and outdoors under optimal conditions, though care should be taken to prevent pests.
To ensure a successful germination process, follow these steps:
- Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds and remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.
- Monitoring: Check the paper towels every 4-6 hours to ensure they remain moist. Germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the tap roots appear, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Keep the soil moist by spraying regularly.
- Ideal Conditions: Maintain a temperature of 69.8 ºF – 78.8 ºF (21 ºC – 26 ºC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Avoid exposing the seeds to light for more than one minute before and during germination.
- Record Keeping: To qualify for the three-month germination guarantee, follow all steps in our germination guidelines and document the process with photography or video.
For optimal yield, use a quality substrate like perlite, peat, or coco coir to retain moisture. Based on customer experience, yields can be increased up to 20% with proper cultivation techniques.
