Growing Experience

Lemonade Auto is a high-THC autoflower from Paradise Seeds that boasts a pronounced terpene profile. Its citrus-forward flavor and aroma are unmistakable, thanks to its lineage of Tangerine Sorbet and Lemon Skunk. This strain was tested outdoors with promising results.

Germination and Vegetative Growth

Two Lemonade Auto seeds were germinated between moist tissue paper and sprouted within two days. Due to fluctuating spring temperatures, they were started in coir jiffy pots and transplanted after reaching five nodes. They were protected with a cloche until the risk of night temperature dips passed.

During the vegetative stage, the plants displayed classic sativa characteristics—vertical growth with large fan leaves radiating from the stem. They stretched significantly, reaching 25 cm and 27 cm before entering the flowering phase.

Flowering Phase

After 30 days, Lemonade Auto entered the flowering stage with a significant stretch and the development of bud sites along the stem. Over the following weeks, large bud clusters formed at the top, with additional buds laddered down the stem in parallel pairs.

As the plants matured, the buds swelled and merged into a single large cluster running three-quarters of the stem’s length. The scent was intensely citrusy, overpowering even nearby lemon balm. The buds developed a pale, lemon-pith-like color with green and red pistils as they ripened.

Final plant heights were 85 cm and 88 cm, with yields of 60 g and 65 g respectively.

Smell and Smoke Test

Dried buds retained their vibrant color and were coated in a thick layer of sugary trichomes, resembling oversized lemon candies. The citrus aroma remained strong, with a pungent skunky undertone.

A smoke test with 0.5 grams of Lemonade Auto delivered a satisfying experience—tangerine sweetness upfront, followed by a sharp lemon finish that lingered on the tongue. The intensity of the citrus flavors was impressive, evoking a strong reaction from the first puffs.
