Rooted in the early days of the SSSC in the 1980s, this legendary strain was cherished by growers for its rare and unusual characteristics. Friesland genetics are naturally resistant to harsh weather conditions, making it an excellent choice for outdoor cultivation.

Developed through extensive selective breeding in the cold and damp Friesland region of the Netherlands, near the Wadden Sea, only the hardiest and mold-resistant phenotypes survived. This breeding process resulted in a plant that is both robust and rewarding to grow.

Friesland offers a rich and complex terpene profile. Expect notes of Kush, Cream, and sometimes Glue, creating a unique and desirable aroma.

This strain produces sturdy, medium-sized plants with broad leaves and woody stalks. In the final weeks of flowering, the leaves display beautiful hues, creating a striking visual effect under the right conditions.
