Effects and Experience

Grease Monkey delivers a soothing full-body calm that often leads to deep relaxation or sleep, earning its reputation as a “couch-lock” variety. With THC levels typically ranging from 14% to 20%, this strain provides a balanced and comforting experience, easing stress and tension without overwhelming the senses.

The effects of Grease Monkey are known for their deeply calming and soothing properties. Users often report a significant decrease in stress, making it an excellent choice for those looking to unwind. It can also encourage a sedative effect, helping individuals struggling with sleep issues drift off more easily.

Cultivation Guide

Grease Monkey has a flowering time of 8–10 weeks, during which the plant develops dense buds with a distinct diesel-and-vanilla aroma. It thrives in both indoor and outdoor environments, offering a high yield potential. Plants can reach up to 4.92 ft (1.5 m), so managing the canopy with techniques like topping or using a ScrOG net helps maximize yield.

Germination is the first and most decisive step when growing Grease Monkey seeds. Success comes down to three things: steady moisture, gentle warmth, and clean handling. Keep the medium damp but never soaked, maintain a stable temperature, and avoid touching the seed or emerging root.

Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top, ensuring no excess water remains. Cover with an opaque plate and store in a warm, dark location.

Monitoring: Check every 4–6 hours to ensure the paper towels remain moist by spraying room temperature water. Germination typically occurs within 24 to 120 hours. Once tap roots appear, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Keep the soil moist through regular spraying.

Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 70–90ºF in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 7. Avoid exposing the seeds to light for more than one minute before and during germination.

Record Keeping: To qualify for the three-month germination guarantee, follow all outlined steps and document the process through photography or video. Do not use alternative methods like water bottles or direct soil planting.
