Beschrijving van Serious Seeds

Seriotica is a high-yielding, fast-flowering indica-dominant strain with an impressive THC content. Developed by crossing Serious Mimosa with (Girl Scout) Cookies, this feminized strain offers growers a reliable and mold-resistant option with a short flowering period.

Plants grow short and stocky with strong side branches that support heavy bud development without additional support. Buds are dense, spherical, and coated in resin, with even the larger leaves and stems showing a resinous coating.

Indoors, Seriotica flowers in 5.5 to 8 weeks, producing yields of 350–500g/m². Outdoors, harvest is typically ready from mid-September to early October in northern regions. Plants left to flower for 55–58 days may display pink, crimson, and purple hues.

Its scent and flavor are rich and varied, with each plant expressing a slightly different terpene profile. While THC levels range between 25–28%, Seriotica delivers a more sativa-like effect after 37–38 days of flowering, shifting toward a heavier indica stone with longer flowering times.

Photoperiod outdoor timeline

Photoperiod strains rely on seasonal daylight changes, so harvest timing is closely tied to your local climate.

Stage 1: Germination / Early Start
March – April
Wait for: frost risk easing, stronger spring light
Watch for: cold snaps, slow starts, excess moisture

Stage 2: Seedling / Transplant
April – May
Wait for: milder nights and settled weather
Watch for: transplant shock, wind exposure, pests

Stage 3: Vegetative Growth
June – July
Wait for: long days, regular feeding, healthy expansion
Watch for: overcrowding, nutrient issues, insect damage

Stage 4: Flowering
August – September
Wait for: shortening days, dry airflow, branch support
Watch for: mould, botrytis, high humidity, bad weather

Stage 5: Harvest
Late September – October
Wait for: ripe trichomes, dense finished flowers
Watch for: autumn rain, rot, early frosts

Indoor photoperiod timeline

Photoperiod strains give indoor growers more control over size, shape, and when flowering begins.
