Trainwreck is a strain that leans into height and openness rather than density. It’s built for growth, with a natural drive to stretch upwards, making it stand out from the heavier hybrids in Barney's range.

This plant develops with an open, sativa-like structure that feels strong and stable. It doesn't rely on compactness but instead uses height and branching to support its flower production. This makes it an excellent choice for growers who prefer a more dynamic, less blocky growth pattern.

With a flowering time of around 60 to 65 days, Trainwreck offers a manageable cycle for a plant that can grow quite tall. Indoors, it delivers impressive results, and outdoors it can reach significant heights and produce correspondingly high yields.

The buds are dense, well-covered in trichomes, and feature warm orange to golden hairs. This gives the strain a distinct visual presence without relying solely on color.

The aroma is sharp and direct, with notes of pine, lemon, pepper, and earth. It’s not soft or sweet, which fits a strain that leans into a spicier, more assertive sativa hybrid profile.

Trainwreck is a sativa-dominant hybrid with 80% sativa and 20% indica genetics. It has a THC content of 25%, making it potent, while CBD levels are less than 1.1%. This strain thrives in a variety of environments, including indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse setups.

Outdoors, it can reach heights between 150–300 cm and yield up to 2000 grams per plant. Indoors, it produces around 650 grams per square meter. The flowering period typically ends in late September.

Its genetic lineage traces back to a cross of Mexican Sativa, Thai Sativa, and Afghani Indica, placing it within the Afghani & Hashplant family as well as the Landrace & Heirloom Family.
