Red Velvet Auto

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Red Velvet Auto delivers a complex and enticing sensory experience. Its terpene profile is a balanced blend of Myrcene and Limonene, offering a bouquet of zesty lemon, sweet cherry, and a subtle earthiness. A touch of Caryophyllene introduces a spicy cinnamon note that becomes more pronounced once the buds are dried. The taste is creamy, sweet, and carries a slight kick of spice.

Genetic Lineage

This indica-dominant (60/40) autoflower is the result of crossing Lemon Cherry Gelato, Piña Açaí, and Auto Kong #4. The Lemon Cherry Gelato contributes a sweet, citrus-cherry flavor, frosty flowers, and the signature red hues. Auto Kong #4 provides the autoflower trait and enhances resin production. Piña Açaí adds a tropical twist with its fruity and spicy characteristics.

Growth Characteristics and Yield

Red Velvet Auto features a chandelier-like growth pattern with a large central bud surrounded by smaller ones. The flowers are densely packed, resembling chunky pine cones, and display vibrant reds and purples. There are two distinct phenotypes—one with a deep purple tint and the other with more greenish flowers.

Indoors: This strain can reach heights of 1.2–1.5 meters, so topping it once during the vegetative stage helps manage growth. Pruning is not recommended due to its rapid development. Expect indoor yields of 400–450 grams per m².

Outdoors: Red Velvet Auto thrives in sunny climates and can grow quite large. It’s well-suited for temperate regions, thanks to its mold resistance and sturdy structure. Outdoor yields range from 100–125 grams per plant.

Effects and Uses

Despite its high THC content (18–22%), Red Velvet Auto offers a surprisingly uplifting and clear-headed high. The indica-leaning nature provides a focused energy that’s ideal for socializing or working on creative projects. Its happy, stress-relieving effects make it a great choice for daytime use.
