This strain is a cross of Afghani, Mexican, and Thai, though according to Zamnesia, it is a Mexican and Thai cross. It is the parent of several notable varieties, including Candy Kush, Chernobyl, Pineapple Express, Casey Jones, and Cookie Wreck. Growers can expect a complex flavor profile featuring notes of pine, lemon, lime, and pepper, often accompanied by a spicy kick. The effects are typically described as a mix of euphoria, creativity, and a focused, energetic buzz.

In the garden, these plants are noted for their vigor and relatively easy cultivation, making them suitable for various experience levels. They typically flower within a window of 8 to 12 weeks depending on the specific genetics. The structure tends to be tall and well-branched, producing dense, resinous buds with a frosty trichome coating. Yields vary significantly across versions, with some producing up to 550 g/m² while others are more modest.
