Hindu Kush®

Description from Sensi Seeds

Origins and Characteristics

Emerging from the rugged mountains of Central Asia, Hindu Kush Regular is one of the oldest and purest cannabis strains in existence. Known for its rich, exotic sandalwood flavor and full-body relaxation, this 100% indica is ideal for beginners. It features compact growth and a short flowering period, making it easy to cultivate.

Native to the Hindu Kush region, which spans from Afghanistan to Pakistan, this strain has long been a source of traditional cannabis and hashish. Despite political changes in the area, its legacy as a true indica remains strong.

Growing Hindu Kush Regular

Bred over many generations for consistency and quality, Hindu Kush Regular produces dark green, sturdy plants with broad indica leaves. It yields uniform seedlings, making it great for predictable harvests.

This strain thrives in dry conditions with low humidity and is resilient to temperature fluctuations and pests. Its flowering period is relatively short, lasting 45 to 50 days. The plant’s thick trichome coverage makes it ideal for producing kief or hashish.

Outdoors, Hindu Kush Regular does well in warmer climates. Indoors, using the Sea of Green method under artificial light can maximize yield and colas.

Flavor, Aroma, and Effects

Hindu Kush Regular delivers a classic indica experience, offering deep relaxation with the first inhale. Its users enjoy a smooth, narcotic sensation that’s perfect for unwinding on the couch or before bedtime.

The strain’s flavor is a sweet and earthy sandalwood, typical of mountain-grown indicas. The aroma evokes fresh pine and intensifies as the plant flowers.
