Fruity Pebbles

Description from World Wide Cultivars

A Vibrant California Classic

Fruity Pebbles, also known as Fruity Pebbles OG (FPOG), is a Southern California staple that has been making waves since 2006. This feminized photoperiod hybrid offers a balanced 45% Sativa and 55% Indica ratio, delivering a THC content between 18-20%. Renowned for its stunningly colorful buds and heavy resin production, this strain is a favorite for growers seeking high-quality extracts and a complex, multi-layered sensory experience.

Genetics and Growth Profile

The lineage of Fruity Pebbles is a sophisticated blend of Green Ribbon, Granddaddy Purple, Tahoe OG, and Alien Kush. These parents provide a diverse genetic toolkit: Green Ribbon contributes a sharp cerebral edge, Granddaddy Purple provides deep Indica body and vibrant colors, while Tahoe OG and Alien Kush ensure a sturdy structure and heavy trichome coverage.

In the garden, Fruity Pebbles thrives with a flowering period of 56-70 days (8-10 weeks indoors). It reaches a height of approximately 4.9ft (150cm) and is considered moderately easy to cultivate. For optimal results, growers should focus on:

• Utilizing ScrOG training to maintain a level canopy and even flower distribution.
• Maintaining daytime temperatures between 68-80°F (20-27°C) with cooler nights.
• Lowering relative humidity from 55-60% during the vegetative stage to 40% during bloom.
• Using a growing medium like perlite, peat, or coco coir for moisture balance.

Yields are impressive, producing roughly 500g/m² indoors and reaching 700-800g per plant in ideal outdoor conditions with ample sunlight and dry air.

Flavor Profile and Experience

The aromatic profile of Fruity Pebbles is a nostalgic journey, featuring a sweet cereal-like base layered with tropical berry notes and a creamy finish. On the palate, the smoke reveals a bright burst of citrus and berry sweetness, rounded out by a lingering spicy warmth that prevents the flavor from being one-dimensional.

The effects are designed for inspired relaxation. It begins with a creative, euphoric lift that clears the mind and sparks imagination. As the high progresses, the Indica dominance takes over, melting away physical tension without dulling mental clarity. It is an ideal companion for artistic projects, music-filled evenings, or any occasion where you want to feel cheerful and relaxed.
