Apple Fritter

Origins and Genetics

Apple Fritter is a hybrid strain born from the cross between Sour Apple and Animal Cookies. This flavorful and potent combination was first developed by Lumpy’s Flowers, making it a rare find for many years before becoming more widely available through feminized seed offerings.

Growing Characteristics

While Animal Cookies can be tricky to cultivate, Apple Fritter Feminized seeds are more manageable for growers. With proper care and attention, especially to prevent issues like powdery mildew, this strain can deliver reliable yields. It thrives in Mediterranean, temperate, and continental climates and responds well to topping and trimming techniques.

Apple Fritter Feminized plants typically reach about 48 cm (19 inches) indoors and 60 cm (24 inches) outdoors. The flowering time is 7–8 weeks, with a total grow cycle of up to 10 weeks from seed to harvest. Under optimal conditions, the plant shows moderate resistance to environmental stress.

THC levels range between 24–32%, with most growers seeing around 28% maximum. CBD content is minimal, below 1%. The strain’s dominant terpenes include Caryophyllene, L-Limonene, and Pinene.
