Fat Bastard

Description from WeedSeedsExpress

A Heavyweight Hybrid with Record-Breaking Potency

Fat Bastard is a bold, high-impact hybrid that refuses to blend into the background. This 50% Sativa and 50% Indica powerhouse is engineered for growers seeking massive yields and some of the highest THC levels on the market, reaching up to 38%. Characterized by chunky, trichome-drenched buds, this strain delivers a full-bodied experience that balances raw power with sophisticated flavor.

Genetic Heritage and Profile

Born from the unholy union of Goldmember and Monkey Spunk, Fat Bastard inherits the best traits of its parents. Goldmember contributes heavy resin production and sweet, fruity overtones, while Monkey Spunk provides a pungent skunk funk that defines the strain's aromatic identity. This genetic collision results in a loud, hulking plant with deep complexity.

Sensory Experience and Effects

The experience begins with a wave of intense physical relaxation that spreads throughout the body. This is quickly balanced by a buoyant, euphoric lift that sparks creative thinking and a slightly trippy mental state. It is an ideal choice for artistic endeavors, music, or deep philosophical conversations.

The flavor profile is equally impressive, featuring:

• Deep fruity sweetness
• Classic skunk funk
• A lingering syrupy finish

The terpene profile is anchored by caryophyllene for a peppery backbone, myrcene for couch-friendly relaxation, and a blend of alpha-humulene and limonene to provide a bright, funky aromatic kick.

Cultivation and Yield

Despite its heavy-hitting reputation, Fat Bastard is remarkably manageable for beginners. It is a forgiving plant that adapts well to both soil and hydroponic systems in temperate or desert climates. While it appreciates space to stretch, it responds excellently to training techniques like topping, LST, and ScrOG to maximize light penetration and harvest weight.

Growth Specifications:

• Flowering Time: 8-9 weeks (56-63 days)
• Indoor Yield: Up to 600 g/m²
• Outdoor Yield: Up to 900 g/plant
• Indoor Height: 130 cm - 160 cm
• Outdoor Height: 170 cm - 200 cm

Growers should ensure adequate airflow and humidity control during the later stages of flowering to manage its medium resistance to fungi.
